Privacy

What we hold

Your email address, and the identifier your sign-in provider (GitHub or Google) uses for you. That is the whole of the personal information this service stores. We ask those providers only for your profile and your verified email address — never for access to your repositories or your files.

Alongside it we keep what a licence needs to work: which plan you are on, which devices you have activated and the name each one reported, and the identifiers of your Stripe customer and subscription records.

What Stripe holds

Payments run entirely on Stripe's own hosted pages, with Stripe acting as merchant of record for every purchase. Card details never reach our servers — we could not show them to you if we wanted to. Stripe holds your payment method, your billing address where tax requires one, and your invoices, as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.

What we do not collect

No analytics, no advertising or tracking pixels, no third-party scripts — these pages load nothing from anywhere else. No product telemetry. The desktop app talks to this service to sign in and to refresh its entitlement, and those requests carry nothing about what you were doing: not your prompts, not your code, not your files, not which agents or models you ran.

How long, and who else sees it

We keep your account for as long as it exists, and the billing records that tax law requires us to keep for as long as it requires. The only parties who see any of it are Stripe (payments), our hosting provider (running this service), and your sign-in provider (which told us who you are). We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anybody else's marketing.

Your choices

Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to delete your account, at support@shadersource.io. Deleting an account cancels its subscription and deactivates its devices; billing records we are legally required to retain stay.
